As a young mage who was born from the mother of forests, Adair is excited to start her first immortal life a potions & spell shop owner. However, the wary eye of villagers and rumours whispered of her mother’s ravenous appetite for souls causes a hinderance in her new business.

The strange warrior who has traveled far from unknown lands offers Adair a proposition: help him slay the King of Malisons, and in return, he will secure her the deadliest poison known to magic itself: the heart of a Familiar.

Deemed as demons for their fickle and malevolent spirit, Familiars are the rarest form of magical creatures who tend to bond with powerful mages. Their hearts, once used for revival cures on the brink of death, became nearly impossible to find after Familiars were hunted almost to the brink of extinction.

Adair is apprehensive, yet intrigued by the prospect of both a new adventure and securing such a coveted ingredient. Reluctant to make the best of things, she agrees to the warrior’s offer.

As Adair embarks on a new journey, her world is renewed with fresh discoveries and friendships she never thought possible, and is surprised to learn more about her own powers.

However, as she travels further with her warrior and ensemble group of adventurers, Adair discovers new mysteries and deadly truths that might bleed into her next lifetime.
